West Philly principal out

My father is quoted in this news story about how he helped bring down a bad principal (not your "pal") at West Philly High. You wouldn't believe how bad conditions had gotten there. I'll see if I can get a copy of the letter he sent to the union up here.

This quote by James from the article is just... just...

He added: "Sometimes I think if these kids weren't inner-city kids, I think some of those statements would just be taken as something stupid that an adolescent said... . I know I've said dumb stuff at times, and I'm just glad I'm not in school now."

Ah, the race card. What a surprise that got pulled out. I don't think since the Columbine incident that anyone is willing to blow off any violent threats issued by a suburban white kid, either.

I'm just glad I'm not in school now.

Actually, you are. You're a principal. That's where you're supposed to be (see, I think this is part of his problem).
